How Joyful Builds an Exam Prep App

Every app in the Joyful family — BritPass, CanadaPass, and the ones we're building next — starts the same way: with the official source document, not a guess at what might be on the test.
1. Start from the primary source
We build question banks directly from the government-published study guide (the Life in the UK handbook, the Discover Canada guide, and so on), not from forums or unofficial summaries. Every app links back to the primary source from its landing page and its FAQ.
2. Review with someone who has sat on the other side of the process
Our content is reviewed by people with direct professional experience with the exam or the immigration process it supports — caseworkers, instructors, or recent test-takers — before it ships.
3. Keep the app scoped to one exam
Each Joyful app does one exam well instead of many exams shallowly. That's also why the product is organized as a family of focused apps under one brand, rather than a single app trying to cover every country's test.
4. Update when the source updates
Government handbooks get revised. When they do, we update the affected app's question bank and note the revision date on the relevant blog posts.
